上年有被譽為香港史上最強3CD的獨立合輯《Come Out And Play》，今年再接再厲，推出集合35個獨立音樂單位，以反恐為題材的2CD專輯《The 5th Element》。

這張合輯除了反恐意義，也是該廠牌(89268)成立5週年紀念之作；參與合輯包括：民藝復興、方欣浩、恭碩良、壞碑唇、沼澤、咖啡因公園、農夫、Alok、The Pliable、Oliver、Stealstealground、inLove等等中港台獨立單位，涵蓋英倫、電子、實驗、Punk、Hip Hop等等音樂風格。

CD1整體較動態，而CD2則較來得溫和。35首歌若要每首逐一細評，只會苦了自己，苦了網友；所以在這裡我也不作詳細描述。就讓大家自己感受吧。

坦白說，對這些獨立合輯有一定情義結，即使這些獨立合輯往往質素有良莠不齊的現象，但其可取性在於一次過能聽到多個音樂獨立單位，樂風廣泛從而選擇自己喜歡的音樂類型；而且這類獨立合輯往往只是雙CD單碟價，貪小便宜的我自然沒有不買的理由。

我常對人說，這些合輯中，若果沒有找到自己喜歡的音樂，請自我反省。
